Possibly the Best BBQ Pork in the World
Great late night Chinese restaurant. The BBQ pork is some of the best I’ve ever had and, I’ve been to a few parts of China, Singapore and many other places that had this dish. There is a variety of Dim Sum, fresh seafood, and a massive Chinese menu. Best of all it’s open late so you can get your late night fix after partying here. Not quite as hip as the restaurants on Nguyen Trai street, but, still a pretty good “view” if you go after midnight on the weekend. Closing time can vary as do most places in Vietnam so if you get there after 1:30am it’s hard to say.

I’ve tried to go here twice and both times I haven’t been able to find it
UPDATE —- Hoang Thanh has moved to District 12 😦 A very sad day as it was a staple… There is a GREAT Chinese Restaurant at 92 Nguyen Huu Canh but it’s not open late and dim sum is during lunch only.
Well I guess that’s why I couldn’t find it 😦
Any other spot’s for a good late night feed?
Nguyen Trai street has a few places… Din Ky and Tan Hai Van are the famous late night ones where you tend to see a lot of ladies of the night past midnight. Food is decent. The other place my girl tends to go to is called Abuu on Bui Thi Xuan street. It’s a little more trendy, Vietnamese food. As long as you have a foreign passport, the Sheraton is FREE in the casino… Just sit down at a cheap machine and order. Enjoy!
